QueerSpace's 7th Birthday Bash, March 2005
QueerSpace celebrated its 7th birthday in March with a party in The Nest's upstairs bar. Around 75 of the collective's friends enjoyed nibbles, drinks and birthday cake and heard what QueerSpace means to different people.
The event was also an opportunity to name this year's QueerSpace Queer of the Year; James Knox, Convener of the Coalition on Sexual Orientation received the award for his voluntary work in the community, including last December's successful inaugural Anti-Homophobia Week.
