QueerSpace and Belfast Pride at May Day Parade
Saturday 3rd May 2003 and QueerSpace and Belfast Pride took part in the annual trades unions May Day parade in Belfast for the first time - the theme this year was Diversity. After the parade we manned a stall at St. Georges Market which provided information for the general public on the activities available to the LGBT community in Northern Ireland. As you can see there was a bit of a carnival atmosphere with stilt-walkers and face-painters on hand as well.
